Wise Medical Staffing seeks an experienced OR RN for pediatric cases in Dayton, OH. This PRN role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to support the surgical team through all phases of care.

Minimum 2 years of pediatric OR RN experience and an active Ohio RN license are required. BLS, ACLS are mandatory; PALS preferred. CNOR is highly preferred, with a focus on safe, efficient perioperative care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
