• Department Details: One-on-one patient care in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Valuable person-centered care experiences! Nurses who work in home care enjoy the time and freedom to focus on a single client's needs. Private Duty Nursing duties may include administering medical treatments as ordered by the physician, vent cares, suctioning, G-Tube cares, exercise program, and providing personal cares.
• Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide professional nursing services to patients/residents at home. The nursing process includes documentation of human responses to health problems in the home health environment. The role involves collaboration with patients, families, and inter-professional colleagues, such as physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, practices within age and population-specific standards, and cares for patients/residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Qualifications: Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience preferred. Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state. BLS required. COS-C certification preferred.
