Experienced RN - Full Time

Position Highlights:
Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus eligible position!
Department: Pediatric Float Pool for: PICU, PIMC, NICU, Peds Acute Care, Peds Adolescents & Peds HemOnc
Location: Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC
Possible Shift Schedule: Full Time Nights (36 hours, 3x12-hour shifts), with weekend rotation

    What You'll Need:
    • Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
    • At least 1 Year of Pediatric RN experience Required
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines

    How You'll Impact Patient Care:
    As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in our healthcare team, leading the coordination of patient care from assessment to evaluation. Your expertise will be showcased as you prescribe, delegate, and carefully orchestrate nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs, encompassing their age, health/illness status, and physiological/psychosocial well-being.     3. Safe, Therapeutic, and Healing Environment: Create a secure and healing environment by safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring responsive, respectful, accepting, and professional behavior. Embrace technology and equipment to enhance patient and staff safety.
    4. Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among the healthcare team, facilitating information sharing throughout the continuum of care.     5. Professional Growth and Accountability: Function effectively in a professional setting by actively participating in peer review, professional development, and adherence to care standards.
