Catholic Health is seeking an Emergency Room RN in New York to perform triage, assessment, diagnosis and planning for emergent cases, and to treat patients in critical care scenarios. You will collaborate with physicians, RNs and ancillary staff to optimize outcomes and satisfaction.

The role requires NYS RN licensure, BLS mandatory for all RNs, and ACLS/PALS for specific units; CEN certification is preferred. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensed and registered as a professional nurse in New York State.
• BLS required for all RNs; ACLS and PALS required for specified units (PACU, ED, S Unit, and critical care).
• CEN certification is preferred.

Job Details

Our Emergency Room RN’s:

• Triage, assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation of care foremergent cases.


• Treat patients for services including critical care cases and rapid response codes.


• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.


• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

What you’ll bring:

• Passion forthe Emergency Room


• Emergency Room experience preferred


• Associates in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.


• Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State.


• BLS required for all RN’s. ACLS required for PACU, ED, S Unit, and all critical care areas. PALS required for ED and PACU.


• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.

Salary Range

USD $58.99 - USD $64.61 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
