Job Description

The RN - PCU is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with OSUMC standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to patients on the assigned unit. This includes understanding growth and development principles over the lifespan, assessing patient data, and interpreting information to identify patient needs based on age-specific requirements. The RN is responsible for planning patient care, including developing, modifying, and implementing the care plan according to OSUMC standards, ensuring compliance with Patient Care policies and procedures. Adherence to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act is required.
