Qualifications

• Applicant must possess a valid Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS certifications are required within six months of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Must have critical thinking skills and ability to work in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide age-appropriate care.
• Conduct timely documentation related to medical necessity.
• Complete Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform quality improvement assessments.
