Job summary

HiredFirst nursing team in Fort Myers, FL seeks an RN for the Surgical GI PCU to support post-surgical and GI patients through recovery. This role focuses on high-quality patient care in a fast-paced unit.

The position offers $33–$48/hour with a $6/hour shift differential and relocation assistance of $7,000 plus housing of $1,800/month for 3 months, targeting a supportive and collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for post-surgical and gastrointestinal patients
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and ongoing patient assessments
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and safe transitions of care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge care
