Job summary

1103 Team Member Services is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time daytime shift in Tampa, FL. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced unit are essential. Requires RN license and an Associate's degree; experience with Cerner/EPIC is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Additional licensure/certification may apply depending on unit/state.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather data on health status and needs.

Job Description

$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES UP TO $5,000 FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Skills required to work in critical care area as defined by unit.
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs.

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in clinical skills, multi-tasking, and a professional bedside manner.
  • Knowledgeable in assigned areas of patient care including health promotion and maintenance.
  • EKG knowledge (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements).
  • Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record [Preferred].
  • Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred].
  • EPIC [Preferred].
Education
  • Associate's of Nursing [Required].

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program - Advanced (NRP-A) [Preferred].
  • Instructor PALS (PALS-INSTR) [Preferred].
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification [Preferred].
  • Trauma Nurse course Certification (TNCC) [Preferred].

Pay Range: $31.85 - $52.76.
