Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA, is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down on a part-time schedule: two 12-hour day shifts per week with some weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates are eligible.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license. BLS required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced certification in specialty encouraged.
• One year hospital nursing experience for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; coordinate with assigned staff.
• Communicate concerns to Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician as appropriate.
• Document patient care in the patient record.
• Oversee activities of ancillary and support team members.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for patient education.
