Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse at Bradley Medical Center in the network serving northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee. The RN will plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care and coordinate with the medical plan of care and hospital policies.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, state licensure (Tennessee or compact), and BLS/ACLS certification with ACLS if not on hire within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Diploma may be preferred by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and evaluate the nursing care of patients.
• Correlate nursing process, medical plan of care and policies.
• Observe professional ethics and maintain patient confidentiality.

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

General Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status or patients of Bradley Medical Center and their families.
• Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.
• Participate in Performance improvement activities.
• Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age specific patient care.
• Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner.
• Develops, implements, and updates plan of care.
• Educates and adhere to patient bill of rights.

Job Description Education

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Diploma preferred.

Experience

• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates

• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
