AdventHealth is seeking flexible, PRN RN nursing staff to join our StaffFlex program in Florida. You will contribute to high-quality patient care, perform assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across units.

This role emphasizes safety, education, and compassionate patient advocacy. Eligible candidates hold an Associate's in Nursing (BSN preferred), current RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate high-level abstract reasoning to assess patient needs and revise plans.
• Basic computer skills: navigate Microsoft Windows based programs.
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• 2+ years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Licensure/certification: RN license; BLS required; additional state-specific credentials may apply.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking appropriate to patient care level.
• Collects and documents patient health data.
• Develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Implements interventions safely and timely.
• Promotes timely patient placement per hospital policy.
• Participates in peer interviewing and peer review processes.

• Participates in quality, safety and efficiency initiatives in nursing.
• Acts as patient advocate and ensures rights and needs are addressed.
