Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a registered nurse for PRN night shifts within the StaffFlex program. This role offers flexible contract assignments across multiple facilities in 9 states, with potential to transition to permanent staff within AdventHealth.

The position requires an RN license, BLS, and 2+ years of acute care nursing experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Travel and housing stipends are not guaranteed. The pay rate is competitive and varies by assignment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and CPR certification required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and develops evidence-based care plans.
• Implements plan of care safely and documents actions.
• Ensures accurate handoff communication and patient placement.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
