Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a new PCU unit in Banner University Medical Center Tucson. You will care for medical and surgical patients, many with complex needs, in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes orientation to another PCU unit before transitioning to the home unit when it opens next year. The position is full-time with a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM day shift, requires availability for holidays/weekends, and offers shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or higher.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred but not required for all roles.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Formulate and update the plan of care with input from patient/family and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide care per physician orders and nursing plan of care with compliance to policies and standards.
• Coordinate with team, communicate patient status to caregivers and ensure continuity of care.
• Direct and supervise activities of care team and participate in teaching and mentoring as needed.
• Document care and patient responses timely and accurately.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient outcomes.
