Job summary

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care for the Progressive Care Unit Nights at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• ACLS within 90 days of start date
• BCLS within 7 days of start date
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of start date
• 1+ year hospital RN experience required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift and report changes
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical provider
• Document administration of care in the medical record
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients

Skills

RN license

ACLS within 90 days

BCLS within 7 days

NIH stroke scale within 90 days

Hospital RN experience

Education

Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree
