Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure required
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments; documents findings and notifies team of changes.
• Administers prescribed medications; monitors for side effects and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within defined competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the care team.
• Responds to medical emergencies; participates in CPR and code team activities as needed.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions and discharge plans; ensures understanding.
• Maintains infection control practices; monitors equipment as needed.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record and supports safety initiatives.
