Job summary

IU Health is hiring a Clinical Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to work full-time nights. The RN will provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based care across the care continuum, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance patient plans and outcomes.

The PCU at IU Arnett emphasizes nursing excellence, bedside procedures, and opportunities for ICU cross-training, with a strong focus on patient advocacy and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Acute care experience preferred; ICU cross-training possible.
• Exceptions may apply with >2 years acute care experience with CNO approval.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate evidence-based care across the care continuum.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance patient plan of care.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring, and decision-making.
• Adhere to ANA scope and ethics standards.
