Job summary

Jamestown Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The role includes direct patient care across age groups, assessment, planning, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities cover medication administration, IV therapy, and patient/family education, with opportunities to cross-train to ICU after orientation.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure from the ND State Board for the current year.
• PALS/ACLS certification required; TNCC encouraged; basic cardiology/NRP training noted.
• Experience preferred but not required for staff RN positions; on-the-job competency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients of all ages using the nursing process.
• Provide direct patient care, assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Perform medications administration, IV therapy and treatments as ordered.
• Direct discharge planning and patient/family education; maintain safe equipment.
• Assist physicians with tests and procedures; participate in staff development.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards.
