Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients. The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, and ensure documentation and equipment readiness to support quality outcomes.

The position requires current Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and NIHSS training.

Qualifications

Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients with a holistic view.
Conduct assessments to develop a Standard of Care to meet patient outcomes and evaluate the nursing plan.
Follow established objectives, standards, policies, and procedures in administering care.
Provide initial and ongoing assessments to individualize care.
Ensure accurate documentation, stock supplies, and be knowledgeable about equipment operation.
Act as an educator to peers, patients, and families to support service excellence and a healing environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
