Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a registered nurse for PRN scheduling to support our facilities. This role emphasizes critical thinking, careful data documentation, and timely care plan execution, with opportunities to float across AdventHealth hospitals within multiple units.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's in Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor’s, and possess strong English communication and Windows-based computer skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess patient and revise plan of care based on outcomes (requires critical thinking)
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows-based programs
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written)
• 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
• Registered Nurse license required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Conducts ongoing assessments and develops evidence-based care plans.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely and timely.
• Collaborates for patient placement by following hospital policy for admission, discharge and transfer.

Job Details:
