Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Grapevine seeks a registered nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), a fast-paced setting with high-acuity patients. You will perform detailed clinical assessments, create and adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team to ensure timely, safe patient outcomes.
The unit operates 32 beds with a 1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, FT days from 7am to 7pm. Requirements include 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele experience; PCU experience preferred.

77% BSN, Multidisciplinary Rounding (with Physicians, Case Management, PT/OT, etc.) for best patient outcomes and quickest recovery. Self-scheduling request system. We encourage our team to be involved in the unit through our Unit Based Council, education opportunities and other opportunities provided within Baylor.

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
