Job summary

Medical City Weatherford seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN PCU) to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers. The RN serves as an advocate for patients and supports pre-operative and post-operative care to enhance the patient experience.

The role requires an RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and shift coverage for a Day shift (7:00am - 7:00pm).

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license to practice in Texas.
• Associate degree or higher in nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical provider.
• Document care in the patient record promptly and accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
