Job summary

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients.
• Perform blood transfusions and IV antibiotic therapy.
• Manage oncologic emergencies and infection prevention protocols.

Patient Diagnoses:

• Surgical Oncology: breast, thyroid, melanoma
• Hepatobiliary: liver, pancreas, spleen, biliary tract cancers, neuroendocrine
• Colorectal: colon, rectal cancer
• Plastics: reconstructive breast cancer or sarcoma

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

• Chemotherapy
• Blood transfusions
• IV Antibiotics
• Oncologic emergencies
• cytokine release syndrome
• Insulin drips
• Heparin drips
• Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls

Certifications Required:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Certifications Preferred:

• ONS Chemo
