A healthcare staffing provider is seeking Registered Nurses in Kearney, NE for 12-hour night shifts caring for MSU and PCU patients. Nurses will work with established patient ratios and may float to other units. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. 12-hour nights, every other weekend, first to float, with the possibility of up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks.

Job Description

The position involves caring for both MSU and PCU status patients. For PCU groups, staff will be at a 1:4 ratio; for Medical/Surgical groups, the ratio is 1:5. Nurses will also float to Telemetry and Med/Surg units as required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and planning appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring patient conditions, reporting changes, and communicating effectively with other healthcare team members.
• Educating patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS Certification
• Registered Nurse License
