Texas Health Huguley seeks an experienced Nurse Admission/Placement Coordinator to oversee patient placement and bed management in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with physicians and transfer centers, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and 2+ years of clinical experience, with a preference for a Master’s in Nursing. This full-time position offers day shifts and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years of clinical experience is required.
• RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with referring physicians and transferring hospitals regarding bed availability or access delays.
• Re-evaluate patient placement requests and adjust staffing and bed management plans accordingly.
• Evaluate available beds and develop contingency plans with charge staff to ensure uninterrupted patient operations.
• Identify needs for operational improvements to enhance patient access and bed turnaround.
• Initiate and participate in interdisciplinary collaboration regarding patient placement.
• Support excellence in customer and guest relations.
