Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Educational requirement: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum one year of RN experience; new grads may join the RN Residency.
• Preferred: national certification in clinical specialty.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
• Preferred: one year in Long Term Care.
• Membership in a professional organization encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates basic assessment and the 5 rights of medication administration.
• Documents nursing care and plans in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinates discharge planning and interdisciplinary care.
• Contributes to a culture of safety and quality indicators.
