Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience on a medical unit.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory potential.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient health needs and nursing care requirements for diverse patient populations and ages.
• Plans unit objectives and updates policies/procedures in collaboration with management.
• Coordinates resources and guides staff to achieve objectives.
• Evaluates outcomes against standards and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Maintains accountability for delivery of care and effective communication.
