Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, lead and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure safe, effective care across units.

The RN will assess, intervene, and document patient status, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement and regulatory activities as part of a skilled nursing team at the medical center.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Michigan.
• Assists with education and quality data abstraction as needed.
• Knowledge of clinical pathways and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assesses patient needs and delivers skilled nursing care as prescribed.
• Administers medications and treatments; supports transfers and call light responses.
• Evaluates treatment plan effectiveness and collaborates to update plan.
