Tenet Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse in San Antonio, TX to provide direct patient care under minimal supervision. You will assess needs, plan and implement care, administer medications, and coordinate with the team to ensure quality outcomes.

Education to patients and families, and proper documentation are essential parts of the role. Qualifications include a Texas RN license and a nursing degree; bachelor’s preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active Texas RN license required.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
• ACLS/BLS as required by unit within designated timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient, family, and caregiver needs and adapt care accordingly.
• Initiate and monitor patient care plans from admission through discharge.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate using RRT and unit resources.
• Document all plans of care and patient responses.
• Educate patients and families with written materials and individualized instruction.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff; coordinate workflow.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for care planning and management.
• Lead discharge planning and teach self-care after discharge.
• Maintain professional standards and participate in inservice sessions.
