Job summary

The Independence Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated patient group. You will coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes and maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities include documenting care, maintaining infection control, teaching patients and families, and ensuring safe, compassionate care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Act 33/34/73 clearances with renewal required.
• ACLS or within 1 year of hire/transfer date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated patient group.
• Coordinate and participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Document patient care in charts and records.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on condition, medications and self-care.
