Independence Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a designated group of patients. You will coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes and maintain high standards of care across the unit.

Responsibilities include documentation, infection control, and patient education, with travel between system locations as needed. A PA RN license and BLS are required, with a preference for a BSN and CNOR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program is required.
• Strong leadership, organizational skills, independent and critical thinking, and sound nursing judgment.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics to a wide and diverse audience.
• A Nursing refresher course may be required if employee hasn’t worked in an acute care setting for his / her most recent three consecutive years of professional employment.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated group of patients.
• Coordinate, direct and participate as a team member to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Maintain infection-control policies and safe medication administration and storage procedures.
• Communicate actions and needs to maintain continuity among nursing teams.
• Promote patient independence by teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
