Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS certifications within required timeframes
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts and report changes.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record as ordered.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses; handle adverse events.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and educate patients and families.
• Translate medical terminology to patients to ensure understanding of plan and follow-up.
