Responsibilities include thorough assessments, medication administration, education for patients and families, and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Current RN licensure in the state; Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS are preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and document care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in line with nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and ensures patient safety and clean environment.
• Documents care promptly in the medical record and participates in quality audits.
