Job summary

You will delegate to ancillary staff, plan and evaluate care, educate patients and families, and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and a Florida RN license; evening shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing Program completed (Required).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required; multiple onboarding timelines.
• Florida RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept students or new hires.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize resources.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
