Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital, located at 79 Jefferson St HH Bliss Wing (10064), is seeking a registered nurse to join an interdisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care. You will apply evidence-based practices to develop care plans that meet physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families.

This role requires a Connecticut RN license, ASN with BSN within 6 years, and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role)
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff.
• The RN develops a care plan that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family.
