NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit. Under supervision, you will assess patients, implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining nursing care plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS RN license and current registration.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.

Responsabilités

• Identifies and discriminates between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms and implements appropriate nursing measures.
• Develops and evaluates nursing plans for assigned patients/clients.
• Records and maintains nursing care plans and progress notes to ensure continuity of care.
• Interprets patient responses to the health team and communicates findings.
• Plan and participate in interdisciplinary conferences and coordinate patient care.
• Provide teaching and direction to support staff in delivering patient care.
• Maintain nursing practice standards and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Assist in policy implementation and evaluation of nursing services.

Formation

New York State Registered Professional Nurse license

BLS certification (AHA)
