Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in caring for patients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, document findings, and educate patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, current RN licensure in New Jersey, and BLS certification. Preferred: BSN, ACLS, 1+ year experience in relevant procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors for side effects.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses and plans nursing care with the health care team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
