Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients with a variety of injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, document care and coordinate with physicians and therapists.

The role requires RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
