Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in line with scope of practice and hospital policy. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assess patient and family education needs, and participate in care planning to optimize outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing program, an active Florida RN license, BLS; ACLS and PALS are frequently required in ICU/ED areas, with onboarding that includes essential credentialing and safety

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program completion from an approved school.
• Current Florida RN license in good standing with the state Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS often required for ICU/ED areas.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, safety and infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in accordance with scope and standards of practice and organizational policies.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family; delivers education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition and referrals.
• Delivers and delegates patient care to ancillary staff; may precept students and new hires.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates care based on assessment to optimize outcomes and resource use.
