Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced RN to support high-acuity units in Florida. The role requires active RN licensure, ONCC chemo-biotherapy certification for those administering chemotherapy, and ACLS/PALS as appropriate.

New graduates have up to 6 months to obtain ACLS/PALS and fetal monitoring credentials, with BLS mandatory. We value dedication to patient- and family-centered care, teamwork, and a commitment to professional growth within a community of caregivers.

Qualifications

• RN license required for practice.
• ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate for chemo administrators.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required where indicated.
• Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent required for L&D/related roles.
• BLS certification required; new grads have 6 months to obtain ACLS/PALS and fetal monitoring.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; RN fellowship tracks may apply.

Job description

Complexity of Work: Department specific credentials- ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate required for those RNs administering chemotherapy.- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas.- PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU. Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs.- Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain ACLS and/or PALS, and Fetal Monitoring if L&D.Note: For added clarification, see Mandatory Education Requirements Grid. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of RN work experience Other Information: RN Fellowship Program requires one (1) year of RN independent practice not inclusive of nurse orientation. RN Fellowship specialties require ACLS and BLS certifications.
