Job summary

AdventHealth Louisville, CO is hiring a registered nurse to perform comprehensive assessments across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, and to develop individualized care plans.

You will administer medications, educate patients and families, collaborate with medical staff, document care in the medical record, monitor outcomes, and participate in performance improvement while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current in the state.
• BLS certification from the AHA required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients.
