Job summary

Westgate Gardens Care Center in Visalia, CA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Part-Time role on AM and NOC shifts. Compensation ranges from $42–$45+ per hour, depending on experience.

You will supervise nursing activities, provide direct patient care, and participate in care planning within a fast-paced, team-oriented facility. Qualifications include a California RN license, CPR/BLS, and nursing program graduation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Current, active California RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Provide direct nursing care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to physicians and care team.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in medical records.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Make daily rounds to assess resident care and staff performance.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Support and guide CNAs and LVNs in delivering care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.

General Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your assigned shift, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest level of resident care.
