Job Overview

The Registered Nurse is expected to ensure the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Responsibilities include performing, adapting, and demonstrating procedures according to policies and procedures, administering medications accurately and safely, and documenting all activities according to policies and demonstrating technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

Minimum Requirements

• Active, valid NJ Registered Nurse license
• ASN or Nursing diploma (must agree to complete BSN within five years of hire if applicable)
• BLS certification through American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Certifications and Licenses

• AHA BLS Certification
• Current New Jersey RN license
