Job summary

Wellstar Health System's Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Day shift to join the patient care team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, serving as a liaison between patients, families, and providers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, confidentiality, safety, and Shared Governance while supporting continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Active RN license in the United States or multi-state compact license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.
• Certifications must be current upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with the patient care team.
• Coordinate daily patient flow and deliver safe, effective care per hospital policies.
• Provide patient and family education and advocacy, and communicate with providers and staff.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support governance and professional growth.
