Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions of care across settings. The RN will practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, providing leadership and collaboration with care teams.

Eligibility includes a state RN license, BLS where required, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on-call. Prior Mayo Clinic or EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN license in applicable state; Basic Life Support (BLS) as required.
• One year of RN or Mayo Clinic LPN experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Strong communication, teamwork, leadership and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Provide direct patient care and manage transitions of care across settings.
• Lead and collaborate within the Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Support quality improvement efforts and effective communication within teams.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle as part of the role.
