Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, provide patient and family education, and support transitions of care across the continuum. The RN will practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and contribute to quality improvement while collaborating with a dedicated health-care team.

The role requires a current RN license and may require ACLS, BLS, and state licensure, with options for on-site responsibilities and varied shifts including

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN start date with evidence of baccalaureate degree within five years.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting preferred or one year of Mayo Clinic RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Support professional nursing practice across practice settings and continuum of care.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership, and quality improvement.
