Summary : The Palliative Care Coordinator provides daily direct patient care and guidance for the palliative care team, acts as a liaison between palliative care and the hospital staff and management to improve patient care, education and marketing and to ensure future development of the palliative care program within the Baptist Health system and the community. Education / Experience :Degree in Nursing, Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum 2 years hospice and/or palliative care experience required. License / Certification : Active RN license required, BLS required, Hospice & Palliative Care certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Position requires sitting for 10% of the workday and mobility 90% of the workday.
