Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is seeking an RN to join the PACU team with a set on-call schedule from 1830-0730, Monday through Thursday. You will be part of a diverse Surgical Services group that supports Short Stay, OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Admit and Sterile Processing.

You will collaborate with the care team to prepare patients, assist in the OR, monitor recovery, educate families, and discharge patients home safely.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Surgical Services includes: Short Stay, OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Admit, and Sterile Processing. Our diverse team gets patients ready for surgery, is present in the OR with the patient while they have surgery, recovers them from surgery, and then educates and discharges patients home after surgery. We have the pleasure of caring for patients that have chosen to come to the hospital for surgery and it is rewarding to see how quickly we can make a positive impact on a patient's life. Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License (License in state where care is delivered)
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Nursing experience.
