Job summary

Hudson Regional Health in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across units, working within a collaborative health care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services.

Candidates should have 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, a NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS. The role requires some weekend shifts, with fulltime on-site duties in Bayonne and surrounding campuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Medical/Surgical Nursing experience.
• Critical Care experience required; PACU experience preferred.
• Current New Jersey RN license; BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of care.
• Delegate patient care to other healthcare team members.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate extensively with patients and families.
• Maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.

What You'll Be Doing

• The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care.
• The RN assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.
• As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s).
• Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

What We're Looking For

Either 5, 8 hour shifts or 4, 10 hour shifts. Required to worked some Saturdays

• Three (3) years experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing. Critical Care experience required. PACU experience preferred.
• Associates Degree; BSN Preferred
• Current New Jersey RN license. BLS, ACLS,( American Heart Association), and PALS.
