Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC. is seeking a peri-anesthesia registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine.

You will join a well-equipped facility with a 19-bed pre-op and same-day surgery unit and a 12-bed Phase I PACU, caring for pediatric and adult patients, and performing arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, and procedural sedation. The schedule offers a variable window from 5:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with peri-anesthesia or PACU experience preferred.
• Ability to manage arterial lines and monitor rhythm changes.
• Experience with adult and pediatric perioperative care is required.

Responsibilities

• Care for peri-anesthesia patients in a 19-bed pre-op and same-day surgery unit.
• Manage arterial lines, recognize dysrhythmias, and perform procedural sedation.
• Provide care to pediatric and adult patients with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Participate in a 13-week travel assignment with on-call rotations every 5–6 weeks.

Join our team as a peri-anesthesia registered nurse in Lewiston, Maine, and experience a travel assignment that combines professional growth with a touch of adventure. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work at a well-equipped facility with a 19-bed pre-op and same-day surgery unit, along with a 12-bed Phase I PACU. You’ll be managing a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult cases, with responsibilities spanning arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, and procedural sedation. The shift schedule provides flexibility within a variable window from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and you’ll be working approximately 36 hours per week, with a rotation that includes on-call shifts every five to six weeks. This assignment is a perfect blend of clinical challenge and local charm, all within a supportive teaching hospital environment that values your expertise.
