Job summary

MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, part of HCA Healthcare, Inc., is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide intra-operative care and monitoring for patients recovering from anesthesia. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within collaborative team-based settings.

The ideal candidate will have a Nevada RN license, graduate from an accredited RN program, and be able to obtain BLS, ACLS and PALS or ENPC within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS or ENPC must be obtained within three (3) months of date of Hire/Transfer.
• At least one-year recent RN experience in surgical suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive monitoring of patients emerging from anesthesia.
• Maintain airway, monitor SA02, vital signs, arrhythmias, paralysis, pain management and agitation.
• Maintain patient records and documents according to standards.
• Direct ancillary staff and monitor patient progression toward discharge criteria.
• Maintain professional relationships with Health Care Team and support hospital mission.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Summary :

Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will provide intensive monitoring of patients emerging from anesthesia

• You will provide monitoring includes airway maintenance, SA02 status, vital signs, Cardiac arrhythmias, paralysis, pain management, and agitation

• You will maintain patient records and documents according to standards

• You will direct ancillary staff. Maintains vigilance of patient progression toward meeting discharge criteria

• You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team

• You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license

• BLS, ACLS and PALS or ENPC must be obtained within three (3) months of date of Hire/Transfer

• At least one-year recent RN experience in surgical suite
